Question about 'How do I uninstall Windows?'

I have a question about How do I uninstall Windows?:

I just installed a pirated version of windows xp and I registered the code. Nothing works in my windows anymore. I dont know very much about computers so I am obviously stumped and frustrated. I hope to god that what I did is not going to cost me a tonne of money to get fixed. Can anyone that has even the slightest idea as to what to do please email me and let me know how I should go about fixing my stupidity. Thanks

I have faced the same experience. The problem is that the pirated versions do not have the proper drivers compatible with XP. So, the old drivers you had on your PC are most likely not entirely compatible with XP. What I did? I asked a more professional friend to help me, and he instslled again Windows 98 until I will be able to gather the proper drivers for XP.

"Registered the code"? Do you mean you registered it with Microsoft? Not a very clever thing to do with a pirated copy is it?

Oh, you noticed that too...

That's like robbing a bank and then turning around and
trying to open an account at the same bank.
