I have a question about Can't access some websites while using a shared PPPoE connection:

I put a post up about this a few days ago.......and fr those who don't want to have to go a looking for it....you can be find it here.

My thanks to Bob Carrick for taking the time to reply, but I have looked into your suggestions to no avail. I still have the same problem.

If anyone has any other suggestions on how I can fix this please help me.

Thanks all.

P.S. Can I expect to encounter this level of difficulty everytime I try to actually DO something in XP Pro??

If none of the previous suggsetions are working, try using a router instead of ICS. They are inexpensive and also can add additional security if you get one withe a firewall. I use a Netgear RP114. While I do not have PPPoE, a router eliminates sharing the connection which seems to be the root of your problem. Hope this helps.

I would suggest a router as well, 3Com has some excellent routers when paired with quality network interface cards. http://www.3com.com/index2.html
