Window XP boot problem...

Greetings,
I have a problem with a new XP Pro box. It boots in Safe Mode but cannot start normally
because a failed software installation keeps attempting to finish. How do I remove
the registry entries (or whatever is needed) to alleviate this problem?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!
Best,
Jeff

When you start you system Press F8 and select last known good at the choices. It
that doesn't work when you boot into safe mode the next time use the system restore
feature to a date before the trouble began.

re: Window XP boot problem... can be found in registry

Use Regedit : HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\Runonce and HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\RunonceEx
can contain the keys that lead to start a crashing problem after your installation.
