I installed windows xp to another computer truly not realizing that it was a NO! NO! Now I want to uninstall it and can't from the add/remove program. I am told to reformat my hard disk. well how do I do that? Help!

No, I don't. When I bought the computer I was given no software. So, now my cousin made a copy of windows 2000 for me to install but as you know I can't uninstall windows xp! Now what do I do. I'm not computer savy so you really have to spell it out for me. Thanks
