Hi, im thinking about buy a new CPU and motherboard, but i don't know if this hardware
change will cause any problem with windows XP, if anyone has similar experience or
knowledge,please help me.

Define problems - it is very likely that you will have to reactivate (unless you
have Pro Corporate edtition). Also, it is possible that the motherboard and processor
will be different enough that your OS will not like to run as installed and may have
to be reinstalled. I personally would back up my data and plan on a full reinstall
just to make absolutely sure...

I agree with the already stated message, perform a backup just in case and then reinstall
if necessary.

I just had tech support replace a faulty mother board
on warranty repair. He used the same CPU, same brand mother board, but with a updated
bios. He even
reinstalled the OS. Telling me it was the only way to be
sure every thing would work properly.
