Stop the showing of previous entries after typing one letter

I need to find out how to stop Windows XP from automatically displaying the previous entries in all boxes after you type one letter. This includes the search option, the run box, boxes when I am filling in my email address on other web sites etc.(like when I was submitting it here) HELP! It automatically shows things like previous searches, past e-mail subject titles, e-mail addresses and more!

If you download the XP Powertoys from microsoft, you can disable the automatic display of entries in the Run box by selecting the "Command Prompt" | Completion option and selecting "None" to both FileName completion and Directory completion.

I know for IE under Internet Options -> Advanced... uncheck "Inline Autocomplete" turns off auto filling in the address line.

In IE Tools, open Internet Options and select the Content Tab. There, under personal
information, is a button to configure your autocomplete options.

Hi, I have also got this same problem in XP, however if I de-select these checkboxes, I still have autocomplete working. Is there any other way of deleting permanently this feature?

Thanks sooooo much! I've been trying to figure this out for years (sadly). I guess it would be impossible for Microsoft to provide an answer so simple and to the point.
