Question about 'Use True-Color Icons'

I have a question about Use
True-Color Icons:
I don't use ActiveDesktop very often, but when I do, it seems to turn my true-color
icons back into the ugly ones with fewer colors and 2-bit transparency (or whatever
it's called). Any solution?
