Question about 'How do I reset the Windows Media Player video cache?'

I have a question about How
do I reset the Windows Media Player video cache?:
There is a 70 meg mpg I have burned on a cd. I redownloaded a smaller version of
the same file (it was cut short), and now windows media player only plays the first
46 second of the 9 minute movie (even when read from the full file on the cd, or
a copied version from the cd to the hard drive). I tried renaming the file, as well
as deleting the index file that the article says to. Does anyone know how to make
me able to see the whole movie? Thanks.

Taken from NTfaq
1) Open My Computer from the desktop.
2) Navigate to \%allusersprofile%\application data\microsoft\media index (e.g., C:\documents
and settings\all users\application data\microsoft\media index).
3) Delete the wmplibrary_v_0_12.db file.

I have the same problem for Windows XP. My videos all have the wrong time index.
What do I do? I cannot find the "wmplibrary" file.

I'm having the same problem (can't find the wmplibrary_v_o_12.db file) . There is
NO "applicationdata" folder inside my "allusers" folder, nor can I find the wmplibrary
file in my Windows folder. Whassup with that?!
