Is the noise a high pitched buzzing coming from the monitor. If the noise and black
screen occur right after you turn the computer on then it has nothing to do with
drivers.
Drivers are only used by an OS to access the hardware. When you first start the
computer the bios is controling most hardware. The bios outputs to the video card
the most basic video settings so it doesn't need any drivers

It sounds like your monitor or video card is shot. Try swapping out the monitor
and videw card one at a time to see which it is. New monitor same video card. New
video card same monitor.

I have tried this solution but it doesn't seem to work. As soon as I turn on the computer, it shows black screen on the monitor and makes funny noise constantly. I am almost sure that it's not the driver or the power supply. I'm wondring if it's hard problem. While I was playing starcraft game, it just shut off and never got back on again. What's the cause for this any idea? note:This happened on a regular basis, randomely most of the time when playing the starcraft game. But it use to restart by itself and loaded up to the desktop but this time, it never got back up again. The system is just gone.
