Question about 'Customize the Tray'

I have a question about Customize the Tray:

I downloaded "tray.exe" but after installing, although it does appear in the tray, it only opens up my C:windows folder. Being the beginner I am I can't find anywhere to change the syntax for it to open something else. (I'd like a "show desktop" icon in my tray) Any help would be appreciated.

Right click the taskbar, hover over toobars, go down to and click on quicklaunch.
This will give you the show desktop icon you want.
You may also put other icons in this area of your taskbar.

There is *no* new icon in the tray, and "tray.exe" appears to do absolutely nothing. Can anyone explain, please? Roger S.
