Question about 'Make Control Panel Applets More Accessible'

I have a question about Make Control Panel Applets More Accessible:

Do not use this solution with My Computer on XP. I did and it worked fine, except: while the special folder was in the start menu, explorer used my CPU to 100% and consumed an additional 1Mb of RAM every 2 seconds. Needless to say, even with 512Mb RAM, this ends in disaster. It took me quite some time before I found out what was causing the trouble. The solution for Control Panels does not have bad impact for me on XP. Regards,
