Question about 'Stop Pop-Up Spam Messages'

I have a question about Stop
Pop-Up Spam Messages:
How do I open the "services window"? It says it's different than the windows messenger
(which I don't use), but I have no clue how to open the services window. Where do
I go to find that? The rest sounds easy.

only in xp PRO:
go to start menu -> run.
type "services.msc" without the quotes... broswe for "Messenger" and stop/disable.

Nemyx gives the right command but it does work in home edition Carefully read
Windows XP Home and Professional
Service Configurations by Black Viper before you do any changes to the services

Click on the Start Menu. Then click on search. Click on "All files and folders".
Type services.msc in the search area. Open the services file and scroll down to
Messenger. Double click Messenger. Click stop to close the service. Then select
Disabled from the startup type list.
I have had no problems since I did this!!!
