Just out of curiosity...

Was the firewall asking for incoming or outgoing clearance fo this process on port
3059?

Or were you just curious about por 3059?

Are you running Personal Web Server or SQL server on any of your systems?

Well, those answers You got, were not very helpfull (to me). My fw gave this same warning. It happened when I made a little application with VB and run the compiled .exe. I had none of those servers or whatever running, so I think what happened is that MS was calling home.
