I have a question about Top reasons for random, fatal crashes in Windows XP and Windows 2000:

using Operating system WIN XP. My system crashed and it says insert system disk I don't dont have a system disk what can i do to get it up and running? without formatting : (

If your cp came with XP as the op system, you should have gotten a restore disk, which is as close to a system disk as they give out in most cases. Otherwise you should still have your XP installation disk. If you have lost it, you can contact Microsoft and tell them, IF you remember the Key Number. You might get a replacement that way if you registered properly. The other choice is to buy a new XP disk. Even then you may have to format.
