I have a question about How
do get the taskbar and desktop back if Explorer crashes:
Recently my roomates computer has been having problems. Whenever we try to log into
a user account it brings up the background and that is it. We can't do anything
else. I have looked around and the suggestion seems to be to hit ctrl alt del but
that doesnt work with this problem. Whenever we hit ctrl alt del the usual window
doesn't pop up, it is a different window...and this window closes before we can see
what is says and the computer automatically shuts back down and restarts. Safe mode
doesn't work either. We have tried a lot of different things but once we log in
there is nothing we can do. Suggestions would be appreciated greatly. Thanks.

Aloha,
I dont understand Explorer crashing?
Dont you mean Windows/User Accounts?
How many accounts do you have on that comp?
How is each user account configured?/Passwords?
Is the Administrator able to log on and check the user accounts from the Control
Panel?
Did you try F8/Last Good Configuration?
System Restore?
CD and Repair?
The Curly Shuffle?
Moe,Larry the cheese?
