Could someone please tell me how i can run my daughters games which needs to run
in 256 colours?
I have an g-force2 gts pro graphics card.

Just because they SAY they need 256 colors ,
doesn't mean they do.....
Try it with full color and see what happens....
Odds are they'll work OK.....
A lot of my kids games say that ,and I don't bother to
change it........

If it really wont run in anything but 256 colors, right click the game and click
properties and choose compatibility tab and check run in 256 colors.

The problem being, the games will not even load. They detect that the operating
system will not run 256 and just stops loading from the cd-rom.

I too have the same problem with my dayghters games. Did you find the answer? I would
