I disable it as I don't like anything that auto updates but that's just me.

JNYGREN,
disable it! as it runs in background all the time. and you can run it manually any
time you wish by going to windows update manually.
to learn how to do this and a lot of other great tweaks for windows xp(all versions)

if this site was a company i could buy stock in, i would mortgage the house and
