Sorry, I deleted the message by mistake. My problem is the exact opposite of this. Somehow, I have expanded the toolbar to two levels enabling not only the time to show but the day of the week and the date which are all on seperate lines. I tried to resize the taskbar by dragging it but it only works to make it larger not smaller; the task bar is not locked. Please assist.

Thanks, Roman, for your suggestion. However, I do not need to change the date, day of the week or time; I want to change it back to displaying only the time and get rid of the day of the week and the date. Dragging will only increase the size of the toolbar; for some reason it will not decrease it. Thank you for responding!

You have to drag the Task Bar down to one level to get rid of the day and or date. I hope this helps.

Did U get a satisfactory reply to this? I use a vertical toolbar, and HATE the damn date and day showing. If u figured out a tweak, please let me know on cb2 at icon.co.za

This may be too little, too late... but I just went through the same little difficulty and found that if I adjusted the font size down a little (in the title bar) that my clock problem was fixed. Hope this helps someone. I love this site, btw.

Right click on the taskbar. Uncheck the show clock and uncheck show quick launch. Resize your taskbar where you want it. Reapply the quick launch and the clock making sure that you resize it each time the way you want it. You may have to move your icons to the right of the quick launch before you can resize.
