I have a question about I get a 'File not found' message when I try to start any program:

I trieed installing this but I still get the message cannot find exe. can somone please help me I have tried everything. This all started happening after I removed a virus. Help Me PLEASe!!!

are u clicking on a shortcut if u are find the .exe file and try it and make a new shortcut

Thanx but I tried that, I cant even open add remove. It wont let me open any exe files regardless if its a shotcut :(

Curious to know which virus, how did you detect it and how did you remove it?

It was the verona virus and I detected it with avg antivirus, and yes I removed it. I know that was dumb. Hope this helps thanx for the assistance

Ok i am having the same proble mi cant open ANY file i tryed to do a system restore 
but it WONT open i cant go to anything but the internet and my anti virus program 
.  Is there any way I can just reset my computer because NOTHINGS working

hi michael, did you find a solution to the problem. i am having the same problem. none of my programs work except for internet explorer and all icons were changed to generic icons. regards, mike soussan mike@soussan.biz
