Here is how I fixed the problem. 1. go to start-run-regedit. 2. do a search for system32.exe and you should find one that is in a catagory on the right hand side that says SHELL explorer.exe "system32.exe" 3. edit that string just so it says explorer.exe and then exit regedit and reboot the machine. *******IMPORTANT********** BEFORE EDITING THE REGISTRY YOU SHOULD ALWAYS BACK IT UP JUST IN CASE SOMETHING GOES WRONG!!!! Mayby the people that couldn't find it were not searching the WHOLE registry (make sure you don't have a separate folder selected on the left side of the screen; make sure you have My Computer highlighted and it will work out fine!!)
