I had forgotten the Wang software that did come with Windows, which IMO was garbage that I never installed (but then I dumped the absolute crap fax viewer M$ provides immediately.) You might consider using a real graphics editing package. Look for Irfanview, the price is right. You should recognize that the software "extras" that M$ provides "free" with their OS are worth every penny of what we pay for them. There are much better products available. Well in that case you're probably going to have to look for another solution. You might try to just copy the executable or the Kodak folder over to the XP drive and try it that way. Sometimes (a small percentage though) that will work. I have Win95 File manager that I use, that required DOS to install it. Obviously that won't work in XP. So just for the heck of it, I copied the entire folder over to my Program Files folder, and I've got about 95% functionality. C:\Windows\Kodakimg.exe is a great editor, if you just want to preview, then go Right-Click on a *.jpg or a *.gif file and set it to C:\Windows\Kodakprv.exe. Once this opens up, you will have the opportunity to Edit using the bigger family member of the C:\Windows\Kodakimg.exe, (but don't set it as the default as it takes just a smidgen of time more to load for each photo).
