I have a question about Troubleshooting Driver Problems:

I have an hp computer, with an hp 2551 printer, and before that I had a 970cse printer and I had the same problem. everytime I try to print something, it comes up print error, it gives me the dirctory, the printer, but no Idea why it's giving me that error, I need help.. thanks

Since the problem happens in both cases look for a common cause. Did you use the same cable to connect both printers? Is the cable Bi-Directional? Some printers just will not work without the correct cable connection.

I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH WINDOWS XP, IT WORKS SOMETIMES, BUT NOT OFEN. WHAT IS THE PROPER DRIVER FOR YHE XP? HELP
