I have a question about How
do get the taskbar and desktop back if Explorer crashes:

About a week ago I was on the net and suddenly my computer shut off. So I turned it back on. I noticed my desktop icons were gone so did my taskbar. I have tried all the resources I have read from this site. Could you respond with ALL the things I can do to get back my icons and taskbar.

Here are a few:
1. Do a repair re-installation
2. Do a repair re-installation
3. Do a repair re-installation
and if that doesn't work:
Do a clean install.
