Question about 'Customize Your Keyboard Mapping'

I have a question about Customize Your Keyboard Mapping:

My laptop (running WinXP Pro SP1) had a little accident involving Coca Cola and my backspace key no longer works. I want to remap this backspace key to my insert key which is right above it so when I hit insert it will backspace instead. However, I cannot find any programs that will let me do this (preferably for free). I saw there was a registry hack, but I am totally clueless on how to do this. Can anyone help me?

Get a new keyboard or simply take yours apart and clean it very carefully. If you find that the traces are broken you can get some liquid silver tracing material and remake the trace.
