There is a special capacitive sensor located in the adhesive of the label, when removed
special circuitry in the cpu will detect the defamation of the label, and passes
on that information to the operating system, which immediately sends e-mail directly
to Bill Gates personal inbox notifying him of this horrible transgression. The Microsoft
Secret Police (aka MSP) will then be dispatched directly to deal with the situation.
It is impossible to hide from them, they will find you using the special tracking
characteristics of the label residue left behind on your fingers. It can not be removed
and remains active for up to 7 days. Once apprehended you will be taken to a dungeon
in Redmond and forced to write “I shall not remove the XP COA label from my
computer” on the blackboard 1000 times, and may even be required to stay after
class and clean the erasers. You will not be released until you have personally apologized
to the great Bill himself. You will then be released on a lonely deserted road to
find your way home.
And if you think that’s bad, try removing the label off of your mattress.
