I have a question about Stop
Pop-Up Spam Messages:
I am trying to follow the instructions to stop the message advertisements to stop
messages, that i am getting every 30 secionds.
I opened the services window, and i cannot find the entry for Messenger. Are you
referring to the services window on the bar where it says shop and Internet?

Go to Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services. Scroll down to Messenger and set
to either Manual or Disable. Then click the Stop button.

Go to Control Panel/Adm tools/services shortcut
Scroll down to Messenger/Dbl click Messenger
On startup type - change to disabled
Service status should say: Stopped
Click Apply, Click OK
Close and look at Startup type - should say Disabled
