You can "right click" My Computer and select the 'Manage' item which will bring up
the "Computer Management" console containing, amongst other things, a Device Manager
tree

Also particular plugins e.g. Disk Management: Run diskmgmnt.msc

The quickest way to get to Device Manager, in any Windows version, is to hold down
the Windows logo key (in between Ctrl & Alt), then press Pause/Break and let go of
the logo key. In Windows 2000/XP, select Hardware and Device Manager.

Thanks for this tip I have looked all over the web for it and tried to figure it
out my self "start run devmgmt.msc".
I get into Device Manager all the time and that is a nice pro way to get there because
it is fast!
