I have a AMD XP 2000 computer. Just one day when I booted there was nothing on the
screen. It seems the computer does it POST but nothing shows on the screen. I tried
this computer with another monitor, no luck, changed graphics card--nothing. I have
also changed the CD drives. One of my friends told me that it could be the bios battery,
i changed that also but nothing. what I havent done is change the memory? Can anyone
here help me out? Thanks for all your help.

Is any beeps tone, if you turn on your pc ?

For future reference to prevent wasted efforts - you don't even need the battery
to boot the computer. You said it POSTS, but nothing displays on the screen - this
is not very logical. How do you know it goes thru the POST? Key is the beeps, what
do you hear. You should be able to start with no drives connected (won't get far
of course). Going further you should be able to remove RAM and/or video card and
the system should beep a lot.
