Question about 'Replace the Ugly Startup and Shutdown Screens'

I have a question about replacing a very ugly AND annoying startup screen href="http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article02-011">Replace the Ugly Startup and Shutdown Screens:

Before I upgraded to XP from ME my computer booted directly into the desk top without delay. Now I am getting a small ugly and annoying startup screen that says "Owner Log On" . The system stops here until I click . This is very annoying because I can't just push the buton on thecase and forget about starting the system. Now I have to wait until the startup screen appears so I can click the "OK" and THEN wait until the machine boots to the desk top. Please help to eliminate this nuisance. I am the only one who uses this machine.

Click start> run “ control userpasswords2 “ click OK. Click the account you want to log on automatically. Untick the box “users must enter a user name and password to use this computer”. Click apply. If you don’t have a password just click OK> Ok and you’re done. Reboot will take you straight to your desktop. Other users will have to logoff from your save and logon to theirs.

TweakUI XP allows you to logon automatically. It's a free download
