I have a question about Stop Pop-Up Spam Messages:

My uncle has a HP Pavillion. I followed the instructions from above to stop the spam messages. I also did it on my computer and it works fine, but on his HP, it does not work. Does anybody have any suggestions. Thank You

I would suggest that you download AdAware (free) from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/. 
 It detects and safely deletes tracking cookies, dataminers, dialers and other objects 
that can be the source of popups.  Make sure you use "Webupdate" before scanning 
to ensure you have the latest ref file since they are updated frequently (sometimes 
more than once a day).

I use a freeware browser called Avant browser which virtually removes all pop ups. Another one is called Slimbrower. Both are freeware... http://www.avantbrowser.com

Yes, even I noticed a great reduction in spam, ADs after I switched to Avant from IE. Read this article.
