how to delete files that cause sexual popups

I hit a web site that added a bunch of shortcuts to the deskstop, changed my default
page, and I think has planted files on my computer. I changed my default page back
and deleted all hppt files in temp folder, but every time I connect to the web,
a bar shows ups on bottom of desktop with drops downs to search sex, making money.
travel, on line casinos. I don't know what kind of file was planted in my computer.
Anyone have any experience with http:\\h10843.tjaw.com?

Judy, you'll have to excuse these XP guys. Their sense of humor leaves something
to be desired sometimes. Some of them need a good hijacking experience once, that'd
sober 'em up. First thing....
Download Spybot S&D
After installing it, restart your computer. Then load it and go online and download
"all" updates that aren't optional. Close all browser windows, then start it in Easy
mode and run the scan. Then click 'Check All', and fix everything SpybotSD labels
in red. Restart your computer.
Go through this article. There's a link on this page for a download to a small application,
"Hijack This." If you need further help and want someone to look over the logfile,
there's a forum on this site that specializes.
Spywareinfo Hijacking Article
There are a variety of applications, that will help prevent this sort of thing. Spyware
Blaster is one good one.

Dan, I wouldn't doubt that's possbile, judging by the daily porn email I get. One
daily....and it's much worse than just getting herbal viagra ads. I s'pose you've
heard about this?

I down loaded Spybot, ran it, did the fixing, however it didn't fix the problem.
When I connected to the internet, the pop up bar was there with the selection of
which sex I wanted to view. Any suggestions?
