Question about 'How do I use the built-in CD burning in Windows XP?'

I have a question about about rewriting on a CD.
I am using Windows XP on a HP Pavillon. I am recording data on a CD-RW but when I
try to change or delete any info it won't let me. It says they are READ ONLY files.
Help! I specifically bought CD-RW's so I could update and change my documents as
I needed to.
Thanks.

Try using a new cd. Some come corrupted even if they're brand new.

Hi. In Windows XP, run the Help and Support. Click the Index Icon. Type cd-rw in
the "Type in the keyword to find" box. Highlight "copying files and folders to" and
hit enter. Follow the instructions on the right pane of the windows. Goodluck.

Consider using a diffeent program such as Nero for your CD burning needs - the CD
functionality of the built in burner in XP is very limited. I think you can download
a free trial version of Nero 6 from www.nero.com
