Question about 'Get Rid of the Logon Screen'

I have a question about Get Rid of the Logon Screen:

I have XP pro and I'm having some logon issues. At the start-up screen, I have to hit Ctrl+Alt+Esc to actually get to the welcome screen, then I can choose the user account. The secure logon box is not checked, which requires users to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete at startup, so I am very confused. This happened immediately after I installed Comcast High-speed Internet. Can anyone provide any ideas? I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks!
