can anybody offer some help with my cdrom problem. I have looked at other fixes like
the reg key fix but no help. I installed XP off the cdrom and it was working, then
out of nowhere it wont read a disk, Windows sees it and says its fine. The cdrw still
works fine tho. The cdrom is 2nd master and the cdrw is slave. i have tried different
different drives, i have 2 identical dives. I uninstalled them reinstalled them nothing
has worked so far, Please help if you can.

Tried that already, i have a few cdroms. this one is a 56x, i happen to have two
identical 56x cdroms and both of them are good, but it just stopped working, the
burner will work, but not the cdrom.
I have uninstalled them, and the ide controller. I have changed cable. I have Deleted
the reg key Upperfilters, i didnt have lowerfilters.
