Question about 'How do I uninstall Windows?'

I have a question about How
do I uninstall Windows?: I have inadvertantly installed a new copy of windows
xp pro on top of windows 2000 pro, in my first use, with a thin client programmed
in cold fusion I attempted to copy from the thin client to an excel spreadsheet,
the computer crashes and when I try to reboot, informs me that /i386/wnnt.exe is
no longer in my system.I cannot use the original cd to fix this problem and it will
not let me fdisk from the cammand prompt in 2000 server that resides on drive E and
which I can still boot to. I need to reformat C: and reinstall 2000 pro

You can run fdisk if you boot with a floppy, or you can boot from W2K CD to re-partiton
and/or format the drive.

Usually /i386/wnnt.exe resides in the installation cd. Maybe you should run again
the winxp installation and overwrite and then install the win2000pro again and overwrite
the old ones. BACKUP your files before you do that. And if this cannot help you,
then, there are many other posts before that could help you. Try to take a look at
theirs.
