Question about 'How do I stop a program from running whenever I start Windows?'

I have a question about How
do I stop a program from running whenever I start Windows?:
Greetings,
I have recently been victimized by adware of some other form of pop up program.
I found the file, but i can not delete it because file is "currently running". It
automatically starts running at start up. I get 20 pop ups in 10 seconds, without
being connected to the internet. Can anyone help?

run msconfig.exe and in msconfig choose the option STARTUP ang uncheck all the programs
you dont want to open when windows start(be carefull some of them are necesary for
correct windows startup).
Open and check the autoexec.bat file too to see if its in there some unwanted application
too and erase all the unwanted startup's in autoexec.bat file
any other problem just send me email to aicrag69@hotmail.com or ill be in the msn

He's overloaded with spyware, they do a better job than that of hiding it.
