Question about 'Force Explorer to Start With the Folder You Want'

I have a question about Force Explorer to Start With the Folder You Want:

I'm using XP Professional and want the left pane of explorer to display "C" drive at top of list like my old win98 did. I tried the switch posted here and gives me a message that target specified is not valid and to put in a correct file name, etc.. How do I do this trick in Windows XP Professional. (Wish I was back with Win98!)

Create a shortcut to Windows Explorer on the desktop. Right-click on this shortcut and select Properties from the menu. Add the following to the Target field (without the "): " /e,c:\"

Made the shortcut to read "C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe/e,c:\ When I click to apply or ok, it gives the message: "THE NAME 'C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe/e,c:\' specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and filename are correct." And will not apply the changes.. Any suggestions.. And thanks for working with me and for your prompt reply. PAUL
