Question about 'Clear Unwanted Entries from the Start Menu's Run Command'

I have a question about Clear Unwanted Entries from the Start Menu's Run Command:

I have cleared my history and internet cache in internet explorer then went under the content and cleared the autofill stuff. I also went to the taskbar and cleared all items out of the run box. The problem is when either i go into a the run command or internet explorer and type a letter a certain two website still come up as if they were in the history but my history has been cleared. Its always the same two websites and i cant get rid of them if i click on the drop down box on either internet explorer or the run box everything is blank it only appears when i type something in that has the word in the website. If i disable the inline completion stuff in internet explorer it doesnt occur but as soon as i reenable it its back. Can anyone help me get rid of these entries is there anything in the registry i could try that hasnt already been posted?

If you look closely I think you will find that they are 'search' type entries or erroneous entries that developed into search entries. They can only be cleared by going into the registry, finding them and then, naturally deleting them. I do hope you know the dangers of playing with the registry.

You could also try clearing your personal information in IE. To do so, go to Tools, Internet Options, Content tab. Click the Autocomplete button and clear the forms and passwords by using their respective buttons. Then you can uncheck anything in the Use Autocomplete For area that you do not want tracked, forms, passwords... Hope this helps.

You have to clean up (delete) index.dat file also that is in the history folder. This file is lock, so you have to do it from dos prompt reboot.
