Go to McAfee's web site, the instructions are there--somewhere.

Go to www.mcafeehelp.com
You may have to delete entries in your registry. Just make sure before you do that,
you back it up first.

You need to remove all Mcafee from your pc even in the registry & then do a re install
of Mcafee. I had the same troubles with Norton. I un installed it and re installed
Norton and I got errors and here I found that there were still some norton things
on my pc that I had to manually remove. I just did a pc search for norton and removed
everything and anything that came up saying "norton" I then went into the reg. and
found norton in there and removed anything with norton in there as well. I then used
power tools reg cleaner to make sure everything involving norton was removed. I restarted
the pc, then installed norton and it worked fine--no problems. Before you do anything
to the registry back it up first. run, regedit, then file, export and name it and
that is your back up. If you have problems you can always import the reg again if
you screw something up while in there searching for norton.
Hope this helps
