Question about 'Force Explorer to Display Correct Filename Capitalization'

I have a slightly different problem. Using XP pro, I cannot STOP displaying uppercase letters in explorer (makes explorer look messy IMHO). No amount of checking or unckecking the box in file - view or toggling DontPrettyPath on or off in regedit makes any difference. Any ideas, anyone?
