I was wondering what are required in the Windows Task Manager. I have many processes
going on and it may be slowing down my PC. Here is a list of what they are. Please
if you can, tell me what they are and are they required.

navapsvc.exe
mdm.exe
sgtray.exe

goto start>run type in services.msc
then go here
http://www.blackviper.com/WinXP/servicecfg.htm
then grab startup control panel
http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml
if your not sure which ones to remove from startup cpl
then grab hijackthis
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html
pick scan then save the log and post it here and i'll tell you whats what

Most of those services are required. And that is not alot of processes. Also, never
post something like that because it can give hackers an idea of what is running on
your system and try to exploit it.

You need to download, immediately update, and run:
SpyBot Search & Destroy
and Ad-aware
shutdown IE and run both, if you get a large number of instances run both
a second time.
