I have a Dell Demensions Windows XP
Pentium 3 863 MHZ, with a 40 gig Hard Drive, and "crappy" Direct X 8.1 and I can't
play current PC games that require a GForce Video card!!! Anytime I install the new
PC games I'll get some error message after installation and as it turns out my computer
doesn't meet all the requirements BUT yet it'll play my other PC games without that
GForce Video Card!!!
(rrrr)

Do you have direct X 9.0b. You may need it to run current games. Go to windows uodate
and d/l it. See if that helps. Plus alot of new games won't run on your p3

Sean:
I have Direct X 8.1 (odd thing about that is I can still play PC games like Duke
Nukem, SimCity 4, some driving games, and a Star Wars X-Wing perfectly, and Real Arcade
games, too) I do know about the Direct X 9.0, I could try it. From the PC games I
bought such as Indiana Jones & The Empeor's Tomb, Star Wars Outcast, and The Simpson's
Hit & Run, I'll install them but they will not run I'll get this error message D3D
invalid code) It does get aggervating.

D3D is short for direct 3d. Hope this helps. Try going to google.com and typr your
error message in the search bar see what comes up.
