I also have zonealarm, have had the two running happily together for over a year. If any of the 3 cases exist end process then run an updated AVscan and download, immediately update, and run: SpyBot Search & Destroy and Ad-aware shutdown IE and run both, if you get a large number of instances run both a second time.
