I am having difficulty in aquireing decent frame rates with a logitech web cam, I am runnin it on a 1.7Ghz AMD @ 256Mb ram. The video card is a radeon 7000Ve, could this be the problem as I understand this is not much of a video card as such. Or is there a windows problem, all of the latest drivers are installed for Cam and WinXP, can any one offer assistance please. Thank you

Logitec web cam messanger, at a frame rate that at least simulates real time, and resolution is terrible, as it is there is between 1 and 3 second real time movement gap, now this camera works fine on my PII 266 @ 4Mb Vid card, PIII 500 @ 64Mb Gforce, but dismally fails on the AMD 1.7Ghz with a 32 Mg radeon 7000VE card, I am just wondering if its a WinXP problem, on that particular AMD, or is it software. Thanks

A frame rate that was not pinfull to wait for would be good, as it is now it's like a 3 or 4 second wait between frames, this camera is working on a Celeron 1.7 Ghz and a 32 Mb Radeon 7000VE, I tried it on an old PII with a 1meg card and a PIII 500 with 64Mb card and also an 8megPCI card all work fine except the celeron With WinXP and the Radeon7000VE Logitech SmartCam yeah! right. Thanks
