Comment about Force
NumLock to Behave:
I have managed to have the numlock on by default when I log in, but during start
up of Win XP the light go out :-(
Today I ran "msconfig" and discovered the culprit - a small program named "numlock"
that run every time I start up. Deactivating this program seem to be the solution
:-)

That is: do not logon to win, but choose to reboot from the logon screen. From now
on you will see the numlock light turn on as soon as de loginprocess begins.
