Question about 'Customize the Start Menu Button'

I apologize if this gripe has allready been answered. I've been unable to find it posted in any forums. Although I've found many instances on the web related to how to change the "start" script, does anyone know how to change the color of the start button on windows xp? Just knowing that the big M wants this thing to stay green irritates me.

Don't know if this will work for you. Supposedly works with Win2K. I use on a W98
pc. Lets you place a different icon, text & bkgrnd color on the start button. Called
hook99. Put a shortcut to it in your startup folder.

Post back if it works for you.
