I know I had the trojan virus and I have inocculated it, however, every time I start my computer I get the System 32 box (saying these files are hidden) and several IExplorer windows pop up. I am using Spypot but it is not helping. Can anyone help!! Thanks!!!

I had the same problem and went into the registry by running regedit from the Start - run menu. Then you find the entry HKey_LocalMachine/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrentVersion/Winlogon and the right side will say Shell Reg_sz Explorer.exe C:\Windows\System32.exe, i deleted this when i had the same message and it got rid of the start up message. I'm no mega smart person when it comes to this so I'm not sure how safe to delete it it is but it did work for me.

Also, in addition to Spybot, run the following:

Download, install, UPDATE, and run:
    Ad-Aware 6.0
    SpywareGuard

Download and install:
    Google Toolbar & activate
the pop-up blocker.

Download and run:
    CWShredder

what stephen is referring too may be where yur problem is , just make sure if u delete anything make it so it reads as follows: shell = explorer.exe for example highlight the shell extension, right click it. choose modify, in the value data area it should read explorer.exe ,, click okay.. close out regedit.. reboot the computer. hopefully yur messages will be gone. do not go hogwild when in the registry..u can mess things up in here if u don't know what yur doing.
