Question about 'Things that slow down system bootup'

I have a question about Things that slow down system bootup:

What other things can you do to speed up your system bootup? I use Winpatrol to delete some startup programs and it doesn't work.. The programs still load up when Windows XP starts.

Jordan, see www.blackviper.com for information on Windows services.

You can also use a utility from Microsoft called bootvis.exe. iInstall and run the
program, then choose the option to log driver delays on next boot. You'll get a
graphical representation of the load time for each driver. It can also optimize
the load order for efficiency. It's not available from Microsoft anymore, but you
can get it at:
