hi, i have three pc on a network (router) all running xp. everything works fine untail i turn on the xp firewall. if i turn it on the other computers can access it. i want the firewall on but i still want access. how do i fix this thanks aaron

Ahh..you wanna re-write that so it makes some kinda sense???

what is there not to understand. i want the firewall on but i still want to be a b l e to access the shared folders accross the network and print. i cant do these things with the firewall on

Annoyances.org tip Note that if you routinely connect this computer to the internet, I recommend using a better firewall than WinXP's. Try ZoneAlarm.

If your router has a built in firewall then you don't really need a software firewall.

Zone Alarm will work fine if you configure it correctly.
