I have a solution about Stop Windows from Randomly Searching the Floppy Drive:

I had more or less the same problem as in the previous post. my computer randomly accesses the floppy drive when i open program like IE, outlook express, control panel and many more. i found that it was because of my autoexec.bat....usually windows xp can run without autoexec.bat...so i deleted it and after tat it worked perfectly fine.... i forgot wat was inside but there was some path error. hope that it helps some of you
